If you need to create very sophisticated documents you might use a different type of word processor called a Desk Top Publishing (DTP) program.

This type of program allows you create many different kinds of documents combining both text and graphics with images and pictures with special features for creating invitations, newsletters, magazines and many more types of documents.

Microsoft and Adobe both produce DTP programs and most DTP programs have tools to help you create what you want – often there will be an on-screen wizard tool to take you through the process step-by-step. See if you can find a wizard to help you when you type your next text document.
